One of the things I love most about my life is the network of people from all over the world that I have had the fortunate opportunity to create.  I do not get to see them often, but when I know they are going to be in the country or that I am going to be in theirs, I make every effort to see them.

Thierry Mazue is a valued friend and member of my network.  He is from France and has the most lovely way about him. His energy, his kindness and of course that very beautiful French accent is so enchanting.  He is going to be in the US for a conference in January, a conference that I too decided to attend.  Thierry and I have made dinner arrangements for one night to catch up and share our year with each other, both the past year, and our plans for the new year.

I know there will be many of my friends from about the world at this conference and I hope to catch up with them all, Sarah from London, Todd Garland from California, Paula Frazier from Virginia, Lindsay Adams from Australia, Phil Bedford from Dubai and I could go on and on. I have plans to spend some time with them all and starting my new year out with connections and affections.
